Angus Wong Joins GTC as Managing Director, China

Toronto, Canada, January 16, 2017 – GlobalTrade Corporation (GTC) is pleased to announce that Angus Wong has joined GTC as Managing Director, China. Previously Angus held management positions with Midland Resources (China) Ltd and Luqin Trading Shanghai Limited.

About Angus Wong

Angus Wong obtained his bachelor degree in Business Management and Finance with honours from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has gained his all-round experience working in banks, shipping companies, manufacturers, importers and distributors, and trading companies in Hong Kong, China, Nigeria and Canada over the last 30+ years. He became a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist in 2002 and worked as the Head of Documentary Credits in Midland Metals International Inc. from 2002 to 2010. From 2011 to 2014 Angus served as Deputy General Manager and CFO of Luqin Trading Shanghai Limited and in 2015 moved back to Toronto to work for Scotiabank.
