Press Release

GTC’s CTO, Nick Pachnev, to present at the 7th Trade & Export Finance Conference in Stockholm.

Toronto, Canada, October 27, 2014 - Nick Pachnev, will speak at the conference on November 19th during the panel session: “Technology and innovation: Furthering the adoption of multi-banking systems”. The session will be moderated by Urs Kern, Senior Sales Manager, SWIFT. Speakers include Jörgen Holmgren, Director of Corporate Finance, Volvo AB and Anna Felländer, Chief Economist, Swedbank.

  • How successful have efforts to adopt multi-banking solutions across treasury teams been when it comes to standardising and automating letters of credit and other trade finance documents?
  • Have corporates been able to offer more competitive financing terms and improve profitability as a result of increased efficiency and cash flow?
  • What role do multi-banking processes have to play when it comes to managing risk and meeting regulatory requirements?
  • With many banks focusing on their own bank-end systems is there the risk of complicating the financing process when using a number of FIs on a single transaction?
