Toronto, Canada, October 1, 2019 – GlobalTrade Corporation (GTC) has announced today that Daimler AG has gone live with its @GlobalTrade Multi-bank Trade Finance Platform for guarantee management. Daimler has streamlined its group-wide guarantee management process covering the entire workflow from the request of a guarantee to its closure and has integrated GTC’s @GlobalTrade with its own ERP systems.
With the new system, Daimler could integrate all worldwide guarantee data into one system which previously had been managed in various platforms. This includes the fully digitized management of outstanding guarantees, associated credit facilities as well as the reconciliation of bank charges. All guarantee related processes can now be managed in an automated and fully digitized environment.
‘Daimler has started its trade finance digitization journey in 2004 and was the first user of our @GlobalTrade Platform for export documentary credit management, said Nick Pachnev, GTC’s CTO. GTC is proud to continue servicing Daimler as its trade finance digitization partner.’
